Well, I got up this morning, and what do I find? A computer that won’t let me log in and a terminal full of spam about /dev/hda6 errors.

So, after trying to fix it with a Knoppix disk and e2fsck, I end up reinstalling the OS and making use of my backups to get things set back up.

All in all, about 3 hours worth of work (although Wordpress took up the last hour of it). The annoying thing is that I didn’t have a backup of the mysql database, so I lost the previous posts, but I’ll try to reconstruct them.
